All applicants who are recommended as prize winners from the audition will perform at winners’ concerts. At the conclusion of each concert, the awards ceremony will take place to offer certificates of achievement awards and trophies to all performers of the first and second prize winners’ concert; certificates and medals will be offered to all performers of the third prize winners’ concert. The certificate recipients will be listed as the official winners of the VIVO International Music Competition for the year.

First prize winners   

Performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall
January 9, 2016, Saturday @6pm

Each winner will receive a certificate of achievement award and a trophy. In addition, for the first prize winners only, the top three performers (across instruments and age groups) will be selected for the following awards:

Gold: Cash award of $3000.00
Silver: Cash award of $2000.00
Bronze: Cash award of $1000.00

Second prize winners

Performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall
January 9, 2016, Saturday @ 1pm

Each winner will receive a certificate of achievement award and a trophy. 

Third prize winners

Performance at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center
January 10, 2016, Saturday @ 3pm and 6pm. 

Each winner will receive a certificate of achievement award and a medal. 

*Multiple or no winners may result in each of the age groups and/or instrumental divisions at the discretion of the jury.  All jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
